Dr. Brandon Hirata, DPM
Personalized Care, Rooted in Community and Movement
Rooted in Community, Dedicated to Excellence
Born in the Central Valley and raised in the small farming town of Reedley, California, Dr. Hirata learned early on the value of hard work and community. His journey into healthcare began with a fascination for human movement, leading him to San Diego State University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology.
Specialized Training
Dr. Hirata earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona. He then completed a rigorous three-year surgical residency at UCI Health Fountain Valley, specializing in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with an added credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. This advanced training allows him to handle the full spectrum of care, from routine foot ailments to the most complex surgical reconstructions.
Inspired by an Appreciation for Sports and Activity
Having been involved in basketball, football, golf, and tennis from childhood through adulthood, Dr. Hirata understands the frustration of being sidelined by an injury. He treats every patient with the goal of returning them to the activities they love, whether that is competitive sports or a quiet daily walk.
Outside of Clinic
When he isn’t treating patients, Dr. Hirata embraces activity and the outdoors—you’ll likely find him fishing, hiking, working out, or enjoying the California scenery. He is a dedicated fan of the Las Vegas Raiders and Golden State Warriors, bringing that same team-oriented, "Just win" mentality to his patient care.
